2014 Jewelers of Birmingham Scholarship Competition
Congratulations to senior, Marianna Cassar, for receiving 3rd place and a $100 cash prize for her "Eye of the Tiger" submission in the Jewelers of Birmingham Scholarship Competition! Eight BHHS student created jewelry pieces were on display from April 14 -26 throughout jewelry stores in Birmingham:

The 2014 Scholarship Competition was opened up to the entire Oakland County for the first time this year, and nine schools participated with more expected to join in 2015. First, second and third prize winners are chosen by an independent board of judges in the jewelry arts community.
A second competition will take place during the display period for the People's Choice Award. The winner will receive vouchers for 'a night on the town for two' as a prize.
A formal awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, April 29, at the Community House in Birmingham.
